By default, horizontal rules are centered, 3-pixels high, and extend across the web page even if it is resized.
To add a horizontal rule to a page:
1 | Position the cursor where you want the horizontal rule to appear. |
2 | Choose Insert > Horizontal Rule. |

To change the appearance of a horizontal rule
1 | Select the horizontal rule. |
Its properties appear in the Property inspector. | |
2 | Choose from the following options: |

Specify the width and height of the rule in pixels, or specify the width as a percentage of the available width. |

Choose an alignment option or use the browser default, particularly if your rule is narrower than the page width. |

Turn on Shading for a three-dimensional effect. |
